WHAT WE DO

it's time to break out of the pacheck to paycheck cycle

The elephant in the room...

Education on financial literacy is rarely offered in schools with 4/5 adults reporting they’ve never had the chance to learn about personal finance.

Now, with the residual impact of COVID-19, most Americans are struggling to pay day-to-day bills, and marginalized communities are some of the hardest hit with reports of severe food shortages and the inability to pay rent.

Overall, the rates of debt and student loans are at historic highs and financial services aren’t readily available for the underserved communities that need them the most.

RELIABILITY

42% of workers make under $15/hr and as many as 60% experience variable schedules.

SECURITY

1/2 of all Americans will find it difficult to cover an emergency expense of $400

A NEW APPROACH TO FINANCIAL LITERACY

Stack facilitates a long term solution for youth in financial literacy and money management, making finance easily-understandable without all the complex jargon.

Our unique, hands-on approach provides young people with practical experience in gaining knowledge and skills that form a solid foundation for their financial futures.

We use media and technology to foster a collaborative and engaging learning experience along with our principle of five ‘stackable skills’ to propel youth toward financial security.

OUR IMPACT

BUT, DO I REALLY NEED FINANCIAL COUNSELING?

The liberating effect of becoming financially savvy is truly incredible. Without any additional monetary input, young adults are able to clear the hurdle of financial stress and regain control of their life, all just by being smarter with their stacks.

After working with us, our members increased their savings while reducing their debt, established their first credit scores, ditched cash checking for no-fee bank accounts, and were accepted into colleges they never thought possible.
